This page tells the story of Commanda Clean's charity work, starting with the Pinball Clemons Foundation and the youth it serves in Toronto, Hamilton, and the GTA.
Tony De Pasquale, the founder behind Commanda Clean, was honoured to step into the ring for the Foundation's charity boxing event in 2025, and again in 2026. He has signed up for 2027. Selection for 2027 has not been confirmed — he hopes to earn the chance to compete again.
The Pinball Foundation empowers equity-deserving youth by breaking down barriers to education, mentorship, and career opportunities — building pathways where youth are guided by mentors, supported by community, and equipped to reach their full potential.
The Foundation was founded by Michael “Pinball” Clemons and Diane Lee Clemons.
The Victory Gala is the Foundation's charity boxing night. Amateur boxers train for months, then step into the ring — not just to fight for themselves, but to fight for youth, helping bring young people from the margins to the mainstream.
The night is staged Las Vegas-style: a full boxing ring under the lights, a gala crowd around it, and an atmosphere built to feel like a big fight night in Las Vegas — while every bout is in support of the Foundation's youth.
Tony De Pasquale competed in 2025 and 2026, and hopes to compete in 2027.
Getting to the ring took more than showing up on fight night. He trained 5 to 6 days a week, pushed through the fundraising alongside the training, and put in the blood, sweat, and tears — not for himself, but for the youth the Foundation serves. His coach, Ryan Rannelli of No Excuse Boxing, and his childhood karate sensei, Frank Sicilia of Frank's Karate Academy, were part of that journey. He is grateful for the coaches, mentors, and supporters who got him there, and for the young people whose stories are the real reason to fight.
